Package Itinerary
|
DAY : 1 COCHIN
Arrive at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station and receive assistance to be transferred to the hotel. Later in the day, enjoy a half-day city tour of Cochin visiting the St. Francis Church, Mattencherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets.

DAY : 2 COCHIN-MUNNAR (130 KM /APPROX. 4 HOUR DRIVE)
In the morning, go on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. On arrival in Munnar, check into the hotel.
Meals:
DAY : 3 MUNNAR
Proceed on a city tour of Munnar, visiting the Christ Church, Mattupetty Dam and Mattupetty Lake. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure to relax in the surroundings of the hotel.

DAY : 4 MUNNAR-THEKKADY (105 KM / APPROX. 3 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) from the land of tea plantations to the land of the spice plantations. On arrival, check into the hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure - walk through the bustling spice market in the Kumily village or visit spice plantations.

DAY : 5 THEKADDY-ALLEPPEY-HOUSEBOAT (110 KM / APPROX. 4 HOUR DRIVE)
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar (boats can be hired directly), and observe wildlife in the Periyar sanctuary. Later in the day, drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey and board your houseboat.

DAY : 6 KUMARAKOM
In the morning, the houseboat will transfer you to the resort in Kumarakom. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Relax in the serenity of the beautiful resort.

DAY : 7 KUMARAKOM-KOVALAM (190 KM / APPROX. 5 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to Kovalam and on arrival, check into the hotel.

DAY : 8 KOVALAM
Enjoy the day at leisure. Opt for a rejuvenating Ayurvedic body massage (on direct payment basis) or simply enjoy the facilities offered by the resort.

DAY : 9 KOVALAM
Enjoy a full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam in the evening.

DAY : 10 TRIVANDRUM (16 KM / APPROX. 45 MINUTES DRIVE)
Take a transfer to the airport or railway station in Trivandrum to board train/flight for onward journey.
